DARI STIGMA KE MEDIASI BUDAYA: KONFLIK SOSIAL SOUND HOREG DALAM WACANA MEDIA DIGITAL

Perkembangan media digital telah mengubah cara praktik budaya lokal diproduksi, disirkulasikan, dan dimaknai dalam ruang publik. Artikel ini mengkaji fenomena sound horeg sebagai praktik budaya populer berbasis komunitas yang mengalami eskalasi konflik sosial akibat proses pelabelan, moral panic, dan sekuritisasi budaya dalam wacana media digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana sound horeg dikonstruksi sebagai persoalan sosial melalui mekanisme labeling dan moral panic, serta bagaimana media digital memediasi konflik dan stigma melalui negosiasi makna budaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif interpretatif dengan desain netnografi dan analisis wacana kritis terhadap konten media sosial dan pemberitaan daring pada tahun 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, media digital berperan ambivalen, di satu sisi memperluas visibilitas, pembentukan identitas kolektif, dan peluang ekonomi komunitas sound horeg, namun di sisi lain mengamplifikasi stigma, polarisasi wacana, dan legitimasi kontrol institusional melalui regulasi dan fatwa. Kedua, Viralitas platform mendorong dekontekstualisasi praktik budaya dan memperkuat representasi problematik yang menempatkan sound horeg sebagai ancaman ketertiban dan moral publik. Konflik sound horeg merefleksikan perebutan otoritas makna antara budaya populer, kekuasaan simbolik, dan kebijakan publik dalam masyarakat yang semakin termediasi secara digital.
