KEMAJUAN MICROSOFT WORD DARI 2016-2019 SERTA IMPLIKASINYA DALAM DUNIA PENDIDIKAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan fitur-fitur baru Microsoft Word 2019 dibandingkan dengan versi 2016 dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus eksploratif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen di tiga institusi pendidikan tinggi di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur-fitur canggih pada Word 2019, seperti co-authoring, Researcher Tool, dan Editor AI, memberikan dampak positif terhadap praktik pembelajaran kolaboratif dan penulisan ilmiah. Namun, pemanfaatan fitur ini masih belum merata akibat keterbatasan literasi digital, kurangnya pelatihan, dan infrastruktur yang belum memadai. Dosen dan guru cenderung lebih adaptif terhadap pembaruan teknologi, sementara mahasiswa masih banyak yang menggunakan Word 2016 dan belum mengenal fitur-fitur terbaru. Observasi dan dokumentasi menunjukkan bahwa tugas-tugas yang dikerjakan menggunakan Word 2019 memiliki kualitas akademik yang lebih baik. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya dukungan institusional dalam bentuk pelatihan digital dan integrasi teknologi ke dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa optimalisasi penggunaan Microsoft Word 2019 memerlukan sinergi antara kesiapan pengguna, kebijakan pendidikan, dan akses teknologi yang merata untuk mendorong transformasi pembelajaran di era digital
