Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Interaktif dalam Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kosakata (Mufradat) Bahasa Arab di Madrasah Diniyah Wali Songo Desa Sukajadi Kecamatan Bumiratu Nuban

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the holistic educational system implemented at Pondok Pesantren Walisongo, specifically focusing on the integration of classical Islamic knowledge with modern pedagogical approaches, and its role as an agent of social transformation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, utilizing purposive sampling for informant selection. The data were analyzed using an interactive model comprising data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that Pondok Pesantren Walisongo has successfully synthesized the traditional pesantren curriculum—such as yellow book (kitab kuning) studies using bandongan and sorogan methods—with the national education curriculum. Furthermore, Arabic language learning is significantly enhanced through the innovation of Nahwu learning modules. The institution also emphasizes character education (akhlakul karimah), the inculcation of multicultural Islamic values to prevent radicalism, economic independence through syariah entrepreneurship, and adaptation to digital technology. The charismatic-transformational leadership of the kiai serves as a crucial factor in both educational management and community empowerment. In conclusion, the educational model at Pondok Pesantren Walisongo is highly adaptive to contemporary disruptions without losing its traditional identity, effectively producing a well-rounded, moderate, and highly moral Muslim generation.
